What this website is
simpleranking.app is an entertainment website: a list that ranks all of humanity, in which each visitor appears in a position and gains or loses points according to rules that are not explained. It is free to use and requires no registration.
Everything in the list is fiction: names, positions, points, columns, countries and what the list says are invented or generated automatically. The world population total is an estimate based on United Nations figures. Nothing on this website is advice of any kind, and none of it refers to real people.
Use
You agree to use the website lawfully and not to disrupt it: no automated mass requests, no attempts to access other people's data and no unlawful or offensive content in what you write to the list. The owner may stop serving anyone who abuses the website.
If you write your own name in the list, it must not be offensive, pretend to be someone else or the website, or contain contact details (addresses, phone numbers, social media). The owner may withdraw it at any time and return you to a random name; the fee for your own name is paid in list points, which have no monetary value, and is not refunded if the name is withdrawn.
The website, or any part of it, may be changed, suspended or withdrawn at any time. Points, positions and anything found in it have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for anything.
Fees, certificates and donations
Using the list is free. Optionally, you can pay an urgency fee (to change your assigned name without waiting a week), buy an official certificate of position or a certified copy of your file, all of which are digital content delivered immediately, or make a donation. Prices are shown before you pay and are the total amount charged. None of these gives points, positions or any advantage in the list; a donation takes points away and gives nothing in return. The documents are part of the fiction: they have no legal value and certify nothing outside the website.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Because digital content is delivered as soon as it is paid for, by paying you expressly consent to receiving it immediately and acknowledge that you therefore lose your right of withdrawal (Article 103(m) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the Spanish consumer protection law). If you were charged by mistake or the content did not arrive, write to info@simpleranking.app with your file number and the matter will be resolved.
Intellectual property
The design, texts and code of the website belong to the owner. The flags come from the flag-icons library (MIT license).
Liability
The owner tries to keep the website running, but does not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.
Applicable law
Spanish law applies. How personal data is handled is explained in the privacy policy.
